Brainspotting

Where talk therapy gets around the trauma or stuck issue, brainspotting creates a direct line of communication with that part of us.

The idea is that where we are looking is connected to different areas of the brain. Using mindful awareness of our somatic experience, we find the “brain spot” which is a point in your visual field associated with the activation.

From there, the brain is supported in processing traumatic or stuck material in a deep and often efficient way, at a pace that respects your nervous system.

Who is brainspotting good for?
